Marvin Anderson, a 24-year-old aspiring screenwriter, stands at his parking booth, clutching a script like it’s his golden ticket. As Hollywood producers, actors, and agents pull up, he scrambles to hand out scripts, throwing out ridiculous sales pitches. His intern, John, watches in disbelief. Mr. Calvin, Marvin’s strict boss, warns him that if he keeps bothering executives, he’ll be fired. Marvin nods but clearly isn’t listening.
